5/12 I Still suck

My Saturday plans fell through so i put a last minute trip together. La Jolla to Carlsbad and back for nothing but a sunburn.

I need to pull on something so I'm going surf fishing Sunday.

Mike, you are due man..... Went down to oceanside harbor and watched a couple being weighed for the tournament. Things have slowed a bit from last week it seems? What kind of conditions did you have? you will get them next time..... Pink seems to be the color!! zack

There are no concentrations of bait anywhere. Water was clean on the outside and off color for the trip back down on the inside.

Bird and porpoise off Carlsbad and nothing in-between.

There are fish out there to be had. I would say 8-10 were taken today from La Jolla north to the power plant. Not to good for the 50+ boats working it.
