I might get out Friday, I'm working in Calexico Thurs, Sat, & Sun. We're just finishing up on my outdrive/engine spring maintenence and hopefully get back in the slip tonight. My buddy went yesterday, saw 1 hooked up, had 1 zip and caught a 30# class mako; he said the better place seemed to be off Carlsbad Power Plant with a few fish caught and more bites up that way on the radio. He still saw a ton of meatballs off the canyon and it looked good.
