Since many of you may now have a freezer full of albies or may score a good catch of albies I thought I'd share this excellent receipe with you all.
Ingredience:
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1 small can of diced jalapenos (they make mild or hot)
- 3-4 gloves or garlic
- 1/2 medium size onion
- 1 12 oz can of coconut milk
- salt/pepper
In a small-medium saucepan combine the butter, garlic, and onion and saute until garlic and onion is clear. Add the cans of coconut milk and jalapenos. Reduce by half over medium low heat stirring as needed. It is important to allow time to reduce by 1/2 as this is when the sauce gets thick and starts to really take on the good flavor of the ingredience. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over seared tuna steaks on a bed of rice. Good with brocolli, carrots, or asparagus. A nice reisling goes well with it too. For the typical BOCA member a budweiser will work just fine.
Bon Apetite!
