Fished the big 9' tide swing in San Diego bay today for 4 more shorts and a hand full of bass. Got on the water at 7am just as the tide was peaking high. and called it a day at 12:30, two hours before the tide went low at -1.7'. There's no way that ramp is usable with a tide that low.
The bait today was nice anchovies, if you like fishing with chovies. The guys at the reciever said that was all they would have until after Christmas when the boats would be back out looking for more bait.
Back at it on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and for sure on my B-day on Saturday. Might even get a few days in next week if the weather holds.
