It would look good at the Fred Hall Show, Is Steve Blackman going to have any boats there? What is the range and speed LOADED?

Get out your check book David. If I remember correctly he's 50% faster with 50% better fuel economy than I'm getting.
The boat's in Bonita if your serious about staying in a 23' and going a lot faster than you are now.

Here are the pictures from the Bloody Decks site. The photos are small but show off some of the detail work that went in after they brought her home.

Mike,
I like the room around the engine,It looks like you can work on this one. Mike, would the KAMD42A, 230 Horsepower be the one to repower? How big of check book would you need? I like the blue hull. Great Job on the boat.

David,
The new Volvo 4 bangers would be the way to go, the D4 with 200 HP would make your boat fly and you would have plenty of workroom with 2 less cylinders.

I guess, I think i would be frustrated if I had to go 14 or 15 kts anywhere. Barring shity weather of course!

Most of my trips I cruise at 6 to 8 knots. That means its dark and I hate hitting things going faster than that or I’m fishing and that’s about the right speed. The boat doesn’t drop onto plane until 21 knots. I try and make my decisions based on the flow scan and the calendar not the stop watch. Twenty one to twenty eight knots make up less than 15% of my time on the water, even thought its fun, it’s not efficient.

and will do 34 knots at 4700 r.p.m.s
I missed something along the way in this thread if I am reading that right. I have a KAD42 in my 26' Blackman. It doesn't (and/or shouldn't) do 4700 RPM. Your's does?

Wow.. Volvo recommends 3800/3900 WOT, and cruise at 90% of that. Careful. Nice boat.
