Mothers Day haul pass

I was granted a 1/2 day haul pass for Mothers Day.

Launch 6:30 Dana ramp.
On the way home by noon.
Point loma kelp with iron and plastics.
Anyone want to ride along?

I'm sure it's going to cost me. When I asked for a haul pass, I thought I heard the word "mall" mixed in with her reply.

For me it's a C&R day looking for a monster Calico for the leader board.

What a waist of a perfectly good haul pass. Dirty water from Point Loma all the way past La Jolla.

One good bump on a jig and that was it for my 3 hour adventure.

I saw the same thing yesterday. Made the run up there after pulling on some short butts in the bay and was dissapointed by the conditions. Very little life and off color water. At least you made a go of it, what was the chatter on the radio on the offshore bite?

Sounded like a scratch bite on the albi at the 302-230 area. Not a lot of radio traffic in the AM for the outer areas.
