Customs clarification

Just found out on "Let's Talk Hook-up" this Saturday that boats fishing in Mexican waters no longer need to check into Customs on return. Also, and most of you probably already knew this, you do not need a passport unless you plan on going ashore.

I did not know this. the last time I checked in I was told we all needed our passports. Good to know. I have'nt checked in all summer anyway.

I haven't checked in either but now I don't feel guilty about it.
