Drove by the truck stop and saw they had Red Dye on tap for $1.67. No chance I'll be burning up what's in my tank anytime soon, so the dip in price isn't going to help me.

Up to $1.94 on 27 March at SOCAL TS.
Socal truck stop is now a little easier to get to. There are a few sets of train tracks which you must cross on 24th st to get there. One of them was worse than an offroad trek thru Baja. I was always worried about trailer parts breaking when crossing here. I was very happy when I drove there last week and the huge cracks in the raod had been filled in. Smooth as silk now.
