I can't belive it we lost a second rear prop the first time volvo covered it .This time I think my diver didn't torque the cone properly.He said that the bolt in the cone fatigued and lost torque not his fault.Has any body heard of this .I'am lucky that my diver is a standup guy and is going to replace the parts.

I never thought about that first nut on the shaft. It holds the cone which secures the outer prop. I believe it tightens when the engine is in foward. But in reverse, it can come loose. Did you lose the outer prop?
