Planning to leave Monday morning and head south. This assumes that the wind dies down. Prepared to go 100 miles and spend the night. If anyone wants to buddy boat along, let me know. Would appreciate any info on fish locations. Public info indicates lower 500 area. May have room for one person. bill

We caught 3 Blue fin at the Coronados. The weather was ruff. I have spent a lot of fuel to go long and was skunked. I think it is going to be a close to san diego year. Good luck where ever you go.

Good luck on the trip. We're heading out a week from Monday for seven days assuming the water settles down a bit.

Yea, I am a little concerned that the weather may not settle. If it is still blowing strong, we may delay. What do your weather sources say about Mon/Tues next week? Where are you going for your 7 day? Bill

I generally use NOAA and they rarely get it right. As long as there is not a big storm front we’ll go. With 7 days to kill you’ve got time on your side. We’re going to SQ and look for WSB first, then to Sacramento Reef and then who knows.

We are actually leaving this monday 8/10. The weather seems to be improving. We may not get to far south as some yellowfin are showing up closer. Some day I hope to make a trip to Sacramento reef. It sounds fantastic. How many people do you take with you on a trip like that?

Usually three people on board for a longer trip.
