After waisting most of the summer on boat problems I finally got out and enjoyed the boat the way she was meant to.
Launched at 5 am, picked up great bait from Mission Bay then headed out towards the 182. When we reached the ridge we put in the jigs and turned south. Ran into the porpoise 5 miles outside the 224 and worked them for 3 hours for 7 fish. They were working on a 320 heading and took us out near the 43 before we called it a day just before lunch.
Water was 70 and flat in the morning, from the 9 out to the 182. It dropped to 67.9 where we found the fish and stayed that way the whole time we were on them. Ran into the fog and wind at the westen most point in our day and it go pretty sloppy. fished from 32 32 X117 40 to 32 35 X 117 48
