rock fish

Do any of you know if there are any rock fishing areas out of Oceanside ?
I know the artificial reefs and the poo poo pipe off buccaneer but was wondering if there are any deeper areas north or south of Oceanside and also what the regulations for the 14 mile bank are.

The only other place off OSide I've caught rockfish from is off the Carlsbad Powerplant; off the drop off canyon seen on the charts it's a little rocky in places 250-350'. Otherwise it's all the way to Del Mar for sometimes decent fishing. I've only fished around the 14 during marlin season; I can tell you the groupers have never come up the water column to attack my 3.5 MJG Zukers!

Sorry Eric,
I got no experience fishing the rocks up that way either. Closets I've come is the rocks off of Torrey Pines.
