I bought this transducer with the intention of getting a Furuno FCV585 fish finder. The guys at the FH show talked me into a top of the line FCV295 instead. This transducer is not compatible so I need to sell it. It is new in the box and comes with a fairing block. It is the same size as the B260.
I paid $1206.00 for it. I'll sell it for $1000.00 obo. (20% discount)
This is a transducer Airmar designed for Tuna and Marlin fishing. It has a 25 degree beam angle for both 50 and 200 Khz.

The 295 requires a transducer without a plug. I might have been able to cut the plug off the SS270 but I didn't want to do that. The other reason is, the frequencies are adjustable when you use a Furuno transducer. The 200 khz can be tuned to 196, 198, 200 or 204 and likewise for the low frequency. Even though I already had the transducer, it made sense to get the one they recommended.
