Much of the credit goes to my neighbor Wayne, that guy is a real Halibut Wisperer.

Molly and are are going to make some Portagee fish stew and cornmeal with the proceeds from yesterday's bonanza. Even with splitting the fillets from that flattie with everybody we're still left with a lot of fish.

Octopus is going to get a quich boil and blanche and pickled.

The 23' made a good impression on Wayne. When the wind and swells picked up off of IB we were drifting downswell relaxing and some poor bastards in a Parker 2520 were in the trough holding on for dear life.

My little 18 ft. parker is great , as long as you dont go to fast and pound the heck out of it. Seems like a long run to the Islands. going 20 knots coming home and still seemed like a long run, no spray but fell into the holes in between the swells a few times . I think I will take the Blackman next time. I am spoiled. Dry and put her into auto pilot and sit band and shoot the bull and relax. Allen do you have auto pilot.
