Anyone run a vacuum gauge ahead of the impeller.
Probably would not cost much and then I could see what the impeller is doing.
also when an overheat alarm sounds a quick glance could tell you the sea strainers are plugged. or even the condition of the impeller once you got a baseline of vaccum when its running.
