Where can I find the hull weight for the 23 Albacore.
I'm trailer shopping.

Brochure states that it's 4200lbs "dry". I read this as basic boat with not top, electronics, safety equipment, or turd locker.
Fuel 600 lbs
Ice/food/beer 20lbs
Ice Fish 120lbs
Gear 60lbs
Fish... lets say you catch 10 Yellowfin, 10 Yellows, etc... 150-200lbs
5200lbs.
Whatever trailer you are going to buy is going to weigh 1300-1500lbs
That put you at 6500-6700lbs as a conservative estimate. I'd take Mike's advice and go with a 10,000lb. trailer with torsion axles. Seems like overkill but running at 65-75% seems like a safe way to go. Check the rating on your truck hitch too. I just figured that my 06 F250 PSD was rated to tow 24k lbs that it would have the correct factory hitch. It's only rated for 7000lbs!

Thank you very much. I have a very HD hitch on my GMC 2500 HD. I have had no troubles towing the 28 ft Skipjack.
Thanks for the specs. Could you send me copy of the brochure?
Please and thanks
