Anyone have any ideas or suggestions to replace or refurbish the pulpit? Just got ours off after having to grind the rusted galvanized bolts off. Much of the teak board seem to bee separating, although it looks like there are a few bolts running through the width of the pulpit. Probably galvanized and rusted too. I'm thinking of maybe just replacing those bolts, filling all the gaps with epoxy or some other adhesive, sanding and refinishing with teak oil.

I have the same teak pulpit and it's also needed to be re-glued a few times over the years. I separate the gaps the best I can with a wedge; get some epoxy in there and squeeze it with a big clamp. Sand it sown a bit, hit it with some teak cleaner and a new coat of teak oil.

Well we wound up tearing the whole thing apart. Trimmed down some of the edges of a few strips, re-glued it all, all new bolts though the width of it, patched all the larger gaps with bits of teak, rough sanded and now ready for teak cleaner and fresh oil.

Now I have pulpit envy. Any chance you'd be interested in a swap? I can through in a couple tee shirts to sweeten up the deal.
Did you get a chance to use that 4X deck paint. I used some on the patio wood a couple weeks ago and it came out real nice.
