Need prop specs for 32 ft Blackman with twin TAMD 41B and MS4B 1.96 trans. Anyone know or know a guy, my pitch is way off. Thanks.

Welcome to the site John.

I don't think we have an guy with a 32' on the board, so getting some specific answers might be tough. I've been on two 32' and they were powered with Yanmars that are at least 40-60 HP more per engine than you have.

What leads you to believe your pitch is way off? I think the rated wide open throttle is around 3900 on the 41B. Can you hit that? Running temp should be around 190 degrees. Are you in that range all the way up to WOT? If you re having temperature problems, when's the last time the seawater side of the cooling system was cleaned?

For props, most of us go to Ed at San Diego Propellers.

Thanks Mike for the reply. Temp is fine and WOT gets to 3100 rpm so not hitting top end and not getting speed. Had props Re pitched and feel they did not do a proper job. Need someone familiar with ththe boat and engine to get the rpm and speed.
You mentioned someone who may be familiar with this and help?

I’ll try Ed at SD Propellers and see if he can help.
Thanks.

For the guys with outdrives, dropping down 1 pitch ( A5 to A4) yields 200 RPM on WOT
