Marine Specialties Skiff

At the risk of offending other members, I would like to ask if anyone knows what happened to the folks that built the Marine Specialties boats. Also I would appreciate any leads on Marine Specialties skiffs in the area.

Drawing a blank on the MS Skiffs. BOCA's are thick-skinned, have no shame, cannot be offended, and easily compromised with food and grog.....rt

The MS Skiffs I am thinking of were tin boats sold out of a store in North Hollywood is that the same boat you are thinking of ??

Ok, I had a hunch being polite would be wasted on you guys. I was a firefighter for 30 years so I know how it works. MS skiffs were never sold in North Hollywood, I hope . I would say they were built to handle long gaffs but I can tell that would end badly for me. So forget the gaffs.

The MS skiff was a thing of beauty. It was built strong and could handle even the roughest weather. In general a great little work boat. I was going to make up a story about saving a Blackman boat from certain destruction on the rocks of Point Loma but again I know that would end badly for me.

Seriously, thanks for taking the time to reply. Even the humorous reply tell me there is not much information out there about the MS boats. I did hear the owner may have moved to Oregon or Washington.
