Well looked at a 99 34' Riviera today. Was a beautiful rig with cummins 370's so it will really fly. Moving in that direction. Made an offer, now waiting on a counter. Looks like the 96 33' is moving into second position.

and you guessed it, the name of the new rig will be NOMAD

Had a few electrical problems (like the whole DC panel going down) during the survey. Nothing fatal, but enough to persuade me to start looking for a back up plan. The newer 34 came on the market and it is a much nicer boat with many of the upgrades that I would have wanted to incorporate into th 33. I'll still have tp upgrade it to fishing boat, was mostly used for diving before. Hope to get a deal done today.

Just had my offer accepted on the 1999 34' Riviera. 400 hours on cummins 370B's. Boat looks new, hopefully it will pass survey!

Hurry up and close the deal so you can get out and christen the new ride.

I can think of no better way to christen her than taking 5 or 6 of your buddies out squid fishing. Close your eyes and visualize the black foot prints leading into the salon.

I'm working on it! Seems like the days are crawling by. I have no boat, the wife is having fits that a thousand pounds of gear and crap off the Billfisher is stacked up in the sun room and we're having 20 people over the house a week from Sunday! As far as tracks into the salon...:p

Large swim step - large coolers - squirts never touch the deck - clean decks - clean salon.

We ran a pretty clean operation the other night. Keep them under water, gaff in the fluke, hold them up to drain, then in the cooler they went.

The only mess we made was moving them from the swimstep to the filet table for proccesing.
