More injector help. Please.

TAMD 41A
Is there supposed to be a copper washer between the injector and the bottom of the injector tube?
I had my injectors rebuilt and they supplied me with a washer. The book doesn't show one and I don't know if there is one in the tube now.
Also, how clean should the tubes be before re-installing.

This is how mine are on the 40. The ring on the left of the injector is a waffer washer and that goes in the bottom of the hole under the injector.

The only thing cleaning the hole out will do is help you pull the injector next time.

Mine look completely different.
I wanted to call the Volvo place where I buy most of my parts but they are on the East coast so I'll have to wait until tomorrow.
I have the factory parts book and it does not show a washer under the injector.
I'll take a few pictures so maybe I can help someone else down the line.
I talked to Brian McDonnel at McDonnel Marine. There are no washers on the 41A. The 40B Series does use a "wafer" washer. He suggested using a brush to clean the tube and then some lube on the injector when re-installing.
