Fishing tomorrow 30 March

I plan to get Tenacious on the water tomorrow for some local rockfish and whatever else wants to eat at the local kelp restaurant. Give me a shout if any of you are out.

Thanks for the WEAX heads up but, after not having fished for over 2 months I don't care one bit. Bring on the wind! The marine forecast is calling for 10 kts in the afternoon but, I don't believe them.

Report:

Fished the bottom 4 miles off of M.B. for only 1 keeper vermillion (2.5 lbs) and a few small starry's. Several large lizardfish came up from the depths as well along with some sand dabs but, they don't count.

The La Jolla Kelp was absolutely lifeless. Ran into S.D. bay in hope of some of the decent sand bass action which has been good lately but, that didn't work for us either.

Oh well it was better than being at work and the boat performed flawlessly again. Good to be back on the water.
