Just finished all new Canvas/Strataglass. Done by Travis, That Canvas Guy. Not quick or cheap, but you get what you pay for and we worked together a lot to redesign the entire layout. His suggestion to raise the bimini was key, now I can standup on the flybridge and the visibility is excellent. All new bimini, strataglass windows, window covers, newly designed back flap the zips open in sections to allow access down below without removing cover, access door into flybridge without rolling it all up, and all newly designed back cover with side door to keep sun off the woodwork and birds out. Highly recommend Travis if you want real quality detailed work. Attention to detail is the way I do everything, and it was refreshing to work with someone who is the same.
Since I hate the multi-step process of uploading pics on here, and most of you are on BD, here is a link to the pics.

That came out sweet. I like the idea of the cover coming down and protecting the teak rub rail. Something i will deffinetly incorperate in my next cover.

Glenn,
I tried to view your new bimini via the link to Bloody Decks but nothing showed. I would love to see what you did.

Thanks Mike.. for reposting them. The link is working again, and was just looking to cross post, when I see you got it covered.
I like the design. Made changes as I went along based on a previous boat I had before my Blackman and a desire to make the cover protect everything and be a house on the water, so to speak.

Geez Glenn, where have you been? We figured you and Hijole split for a commune together in San Quentin since you both have vanished since last year !

Taking a break from boating/fishing on the offseason. Might take a break for the season too, not sure.

From taking a break to selling the boat? Getting out of the fishing business altogether?

Feels that way. I go in cycles with hobbies, especially when customs, fuel prices, Mexican seiners, etc etc etc make one less fun every year.
We'll see.

There certainly are hobbies that are less expensive and time-consuming. Shopping for Italian shoes and burning money come to mind but don't get fooled into thinking that golf is a cheaper past time. I go through phases where I spend more time on the water than others but that's dictated more by what the rest of life allows. I hope you still find time to get out every once in a while, even if it's not on your own rig.

Glenn had a good taste of ho this past season and it might not be a bad decision with the connections he has, they are some sweet rides!

Boy Pepe, I hope they didn't seize your work computer, you might have to get in line down at the courthouse behind the Bishop filing those Bankruptcy Papers!
Or is it the home computer I have to worry about?
