displacement

Can anyone tell me the displacement of a 23' Albacore Special with a Volvo diesel and 280 outdrive. Anywhere close would be good.

Brian on Old Blue here. As told to me by Don a few years back the dry weight of my albacore special is right about 4500 lbs. Mine has the 40 series diesel and 280 outdrive.

Add a hundred gallons of fuel, a trailer and some gear and your probably looking at about 6500 lbs going down the road.

Thanks. That is about what I would have guessed. I want to know for launching more than towing, I have to launch off the beach where I live.

What year is your boat and how long have you had it? What do you like and dislike about the boat?
