Thought I would add a Forum on rod building. I saw a rod Russ (Time Out) made and it's inspired me to look into this. Russ did a great job on his new troller. I built a few fly rods about 10 years ago but forgot everything I learned. I still fish with them so I guess I did an ok job on them. Anyway, lets see is we can get something going on rod building.

Charlie: When are you taking orders for my new custom wrapped trolling rods? I will need them before the start of the season of course. Ann wants to know how quickly you can finish them?

I can make all sorts of custom rods. I've been practicing on broom sticks and will soon graduate to work on real rods!

Because I still spend valuable time with Internet Porn and when I am no longer able I guess I will pick up rod wrapping as you have.
