Let me know if you need some help adding photos to your post. This forum software is a little tricky to post photo with, but it can be done.

sea trial
finally got her wet,,43 mph, handled real nice,,think i need to raise the engine some, 5250 rpms at wot,,
-
This looks like a killer build. When you get a chance please shoot a bunch of pics and share em with us, OK?
What kind of power did you put in? 43 mph sounds like fun!
Still got the fish hold?
What do you mean raise the engine some? Is it outboard powered now?
I know you're going to be busy haulin A$$ and dialing it in but pics would really be great!
Congrats - helluva project.
-
OMG.....
WHERE YOU HIDING THE PRATT AND WHITNEY TURBOS?
I'd like to something like that to my old skipjack 20 but I'd be better off selling her before I repower again.

That's a sweet ride. You're getting 2 mpg at 43? What are you getting at normal cruise? And what do you think normal cruise will be?
I'd be scared to go 43 mph in the fly bridge model. If I had a five point harness and side air bags it would still be sketchy.

Thanks Mike,,still messing with props but i think it was around 20 mph at 3.5,,
-
Mike:
It looks like the first screen shot is reading 27 mph @ 3.0 mpg avg.
-
Well now we know what 300 ponies does to a 23!:D
That looks like a ton of fun. You look like you're ready to chase those Bluefin with that.
Thanks for posting some more pics, please keep us up on how it goes.
-
WOW! You really outdid yourself, that looks like a really sweet ride and if you liked doing the work I'd start snapping up those old 23s as you can and turn them into Beardog 23s at a nice profit! Go after the Parker Market!
Thanks for sharing!

Beardog23,,like the sound of it,,lol,,but don't think i have it in me,,lots of work,,think this is my last project boat,,but as they say ,,never say never,,,
