Not a lot to report. Got down there around 1:30 and bounce balled for a couple hours until my ADD kicked in and I started chasing the birds. Lots of cuda crashing bait just south of the pier between the inner and outer kelps.
Worked my way back up to the bay and bounced the outter bay for nothing before moving inside to the carrier area. Picked up 1 short hali and some bass before calling it a day at 7pm.

Did you BB inside or outside the kelp line?
My buddy was up @ LJ Northwest this PM until dark; they found a wad of huge YT popping up in 120' off the condo but couldn't get them to go. He said 25-30# fish all over the mackeral in the area.
I've been working between the inner and outer kelp, 28 to 35 feet of water. I also spent some time just north of the pier today. Lots of bait up there in shallow.
