    If the same situation would have happened towing something along the lines of a Billfisher....

    It would be a very stressful situation that's for sure!!!

    They ran diagnostics (I don't know what that really means) and the service guy said that everything except the injector was fine so he really couldn't explain the complete shut down.

    I guess I will just have to consider that a mystery hopefully never to be revisited. This event made me realize that I need to learn something about my diesel motor. Thanks again to you guys!

    Now to find an Outerbanks to tow with the truck.....

    If the crappy weather doesn't get better...I have an Outerbank
    you can tow from SD to OC

    Good luck Brian, hopefully this is an isolated freak thing...atleast
    thats what Toyota say about the braking system...

    Weather is PERFECT right now!!!!

    I agree, I hope it was a freak event as well. I guess only time will answer that. I really like the 2010 F250 though.

    FORD started making the 6.0's in 03. Mine was one of the last 7.3's out the door.
